Kim Sylla is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience as a therapist working with diverse populations such as the LGBTQIA and BIPOC communities. She received her Master of Social Work from Temple University with a concentration in Direct Service. Kim has experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and Trauma Informed Care. She has an engaging, strengths-based approach that fosters trust in the therapeutic alliance and enhances the motivation and growth of the client. She is client- centered and dedicated to meeting people where they are and improving comfort level and access to mental health care for each individual. In her spare time, Kim enjoys volunteer work, foreign films and spending time with her son.
